The Los Angeles Clippers facing off against the San Antonio Spurs has been the most entertaining series in the 1st round so far, by a MILE. All the other series are very easy to predict, but this one, has an unpredictable feeling to it. When you think the Spurs will pull through, the Clippers make a run, and vice versa.
In Game 2, the San Antonio Spurs looked to come out with more energy and play more Spurs basketball, and that’s exactly what they did, but the Clippers didn’t back down either. Griffin posted up a triple double in his team’s game 2 loss.
He dropped 29 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and had 11 assists, shooting 12/15 in 47 minutes of action. It’s funny because at one point in overtime, the game came down to Tim Duncan vs. Blake Griffin. When it came down to it, Griffin had two anti-clutch turnovers that cost the Clippers the game.
