Down by one, with the clock running down in a vital overtime game against the Toronto Raptors, the Boston Celtics went to top scorer Isaiah Thomas. Thomas drove to the rim, evading several Raptors on his way there. Rather than forcing a bad shot, Thomas made a smart play by dishing to Marcus (no pun intended) Smart. Smart was able to get up the quick shot and watched it drop in as the buzzer sounded.
This was a very important game for Boston, as the win put them ahead of the Miami Heat for the 8 seed. Boston is now just half a game shy of Brooklyn for the 7 seed with 5 games left to play
