The Celtics-Raptors game on Tuesday night came down to the wire. The game was tied at 93 after a layup by Kyle Lowry. Evan Turner drove to the rim to try and take the lead, but was blocked by Terrence Ross.
With 3.3 seconds remaining, Marcus Smart inbounded the ball to Jae Crowder in the corner, who drilled a fading jump shot over Tyler Hansbrough and Kyle Lowry with an eighth of a second remaining. The Raptors inbounded the ball to Lowry, but his quick shot attempt was blocked by Evan Turner.
With this win, Boston has clinched the 7 seed in the East, meaning that they will play the second-seeded Cavaliers, just as Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck wanted.
