Early in the second quarter of Game 2 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls, there was a little bit of a scrum between the two teams. The Bucks came in with a little chip on their shoulders after they lost game 1 to the Bulls in convincing fashion for Chicago.
After Joakim Noah scored an easy layup against the Bucks defense it was time for Milwaukee to answer. Their trip down the court was interrupted before the ball could cross half court.
Aaron Brooks tried to get in the way of the unsuspecting Bucks big man, John Henson. Henson saw what Brooks was trying to do an he proceeded to shove him. As Brooks hit the ground, Henson stood over Brooks and then the fireworks started.
Noah came up and got in Henson’s face and Jimmy Butler and O.J. Mayo got into, going to face to face probably not talking about who has the better haircut.
Mayo, Butler, Noah and Henson were all assessed technical fouls for their part in the scrum. Hats off to the referees for being able to separate the heated parties involved. Hopefully this won’t spill out to Game 3 in Milwaukee which already has a little drama coming with it.
