In the NBA’s inaugural Africa game, Bradley Beal had himself an amazing performance considering the end result really didn’t mean anything. He hit 4 3-pointers, mainly because of the great passing showcased by all of the players who were playing basketball at a very team oriented style.

The play all started with a penetration by Trey Burke who dumped the ball down to Evan Turner, who then threw a behind-the-back pass to Beal for a corner 3-pointer. Maybe the defense wasn’t quite there like it would be in a regular season or playoff game with the Wizards, but it’s still good for DC to see their star knocking down shots like it’s warmups.
This great passing display was put on by a lot of different guys throughout the night, which helped Beal play a lot like how he does with Washington. A player like John Wall is always able to find teammates for open shots, so the great passing made Beal feel right at home.
Maybe the teams didn’t have chances to practice together, but at times, the passing made it look like they had.
