Bowling Green University mens basketball coach Chris Jans, has been fired after one season.
The cause for Jans firing is because of an incident that happened at a local bar, where a video shows drunk Jans groping a woman on the rear. Reports from witnesses also say that Jans sexually harassed multiple women at the bar, not just the one that is shown in the video.
“The University concluded that Jans’ public conduct failed to meet his obligations as a head coach and the expectations that BGSU Athletics has for its coaches,” Bowling Green said in a statement.
Jans led the Falcons to a 21-12 record this season. The 21 victories are nine more than the team had last season
