Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin turned up the heat last night in a big time matchup with the Golden State Warriors last night. Griffin decided to put up 40 points on the Dubs but it came in a loss.
Griffin scored his 40 points on 16-25 shooting while going 8-8 from the free throw line. Griffin also grabbed 12 rebounds, handed out 5 assists and rejected 4 shots.
Blake might not have felt the home-court advantage last night but he did put on a show for those Clippers fans in attendance at Staples Center. He even showcased his talents for Drake to enjoy.
Griffin and the Clippers currently sit 5th in Western Conference standings but only by percentage points. They are within 2 games of the second seed in the West but they also only lead the 6 seed by a half game.
Clippers can move up or down from here so the future will be in the hands of Griffin and his running mate, Chris Paul for the remaining 7 Clippers games.
