It was supposed to be the DeAndre Jordan versus Dallas Mavericks game. The game that DeAndre would use to shut up all of his critics and the game that he would prove his loyalties to the Clippers.
Instead, it was Blake Griffin that put on a show for the Staples Center faithful.
In the Clippers 104-88 rout of the Dallas Mavericks, Blake Griffin put the NBA on notice. He’s doing whatever he can to take over this season. Blake dropped 26 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and handed out two assists in 27 minutes of action.
For the Clippers, if they want to continue to prove the doubters wrong and contend for an NBA Championship, Blake Griffin is going to have to be the man to lead this team in the future.
