The Phoenix Suns traveled to New York for their lone matchup at Madison Square Garden against the Knicks. Knicks had a healthy rotation for the first time in a nearly a week and they were looking to end their recent run of losing.
Early in the game, Suns young guard Archie Goodwin made the most out of an opportunity to make a name for himself, once again. Last weekend, Goodwin put down a huge slam and hit the game-winning shot in a Suns upset win over the Hawks but he made possibly the biggest play of his career at MSG.
Goodwin took the ball down on a fastbreak, went right at Knicks young star Kristaps Porzingis and threw down a tenacious slam over the rim-protecting Latvian. That one stung but the Knicks got the last laugh as Goodwin was given a taunting technical and they also got the win over Phoenix.
