For the first time in the history of the Detroit Pistons, the team took a game into quadruple overtime and it was against their division rivals, the Chicago Bulls.
The Pistons had three players foul out when it was all said and done and Marcus Morris played 57 total minutes for Detroit. Jimmy Butler played 56 minutes, Derrick Rose played 54 and the two teams combined to shoot 106-244 from the field.
The star of the night, as usual, was Pistons big man Andre Drummond. Dre put up another ridiculous stat line of 33 points and 21 rebounds while he also blocked two shots. He did foul out towards the end of the game but he had some help from Brandon Jennings who scored 31 points of his own on the night with 13 assists.
For the Bulls, Jimmy Butler scored 43 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Derrick Rose scored 34 points and he handed out eight assists.
Jimmy Butler dropped a career-high but he ended up not caring about his scoring output at the end of the day.
Butler on his career-high 43 points: "I don't care."
