When Indiana went to Detroit to take on the Pistons, they knew they would be seeing a team with a lot of large and powerful bigs. Little did they know, they would also be seeing Andre Drummond making this athletic one-handed dunk off the alley-oop as he was falling behind the backboard. Drummond is known for throwing down some bigs slams, but this may be one of his best ones yet.
The monster dunk occurred with 8:19 left in the third quarter of the game, and brought the Pistons to within two points of Indiana. A play like this certainly gave Detroit a lot of momentum and gave them the energy to stay in the game.
The biggest surprise is that the dunk was put down on Roy Hibbert. Hibbert may not be known for his athleticism, but as big as he is, it is not common for him to be getting dunked on. All Hibbert seems to have going for him over Drummond is that he may still be able to make the playoffs.
