Attention everyone. The Detroit Pistons are now Andre Drummond’s team, whether you like it or not. Drummond is eligible for a new contract before the season ends and from game one he’s looking to put the Pistons on notice as to why he deserves a max deal.
Drummond put up 18 points on 6-16 shooting including 6-10 shooting from the free throw line with 19 rebounds, and two blocks. Andre could command a max contract this season and if Stan Van Gundy continues to build a team around him where all he has to do is hangout around the rim, get rebounds, putback misses and finish off easy pick and rolls with Reggie Jackson, expect Detroit to have one of the best centers in the NBA for a very long time.
