Hassan Whiteside and Alex Len have both been pleasant surprises for their respective teams, the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns. They have both become defensive stoppers in the middle, and have unusually found a soft touch around the rim as well. These two teams recently had a trade go down, which sent the Phoenix Suns star point guard, Goran Dragic, to Miami for numerous other players. You already knew this would be a heated affair.
The Miami Heat completely blew out the Phoenix Suns 115-98, but the most interesting part of the night, was the fight between Alex Len and Hassan Whiteside. After Whiteside dunks ALL over Alex Len, Len feels a little ‘salty’ and pushes him to the ground, and then things escalate.
Nothing more or nothing less to it. The two players both got heated, and got stuck in the heat of the moment, and lashed out. Both got ejected by the way.
