Aaron White may have had only 4 points in his first summer league game as a member of the Washington Wizards, but both came on putback dunks that got the crowd into the game. It’s too bad this wasn’t taking place at Verizon Center, or the house would have gotten very loud celebrating the plays from Washington’s second round pick.

He only had 4 points and 4 rebounds in the game, but White proved himself to be a ball hawk by going after loose balls at every opportunity he could. He was always crashing the boards and even tipped the ball back at times, which won’t show up in any way on the box score.
Anything White can do in an attempt to make the 15-man roster once the regular season comes is going to be a must for Washington to look at him as a player who could make an impact this season. Now that Drew Gooden is officially back with the Wizards, it makes the former Iowa forward have to do that much more for a shot at making the roster.
