Jerry Stackhouse, at 40-years-old, is no longer in the NBA. His body is too old, and he’s too slow. That doesn’t mean he can’t take some of the best talent in high school basketball to school though.
This took place at the Adidas Nations Camp in Houston, Texas. Stackhouse plays these kids one-on-one, and despite some pretty tough defense, they’re completely incapable of stopping the vet’s fadeaway jumpers.
In Stackhouse’s 19 seasons, he played for the 76ers, the Pistons, the Wizards, the Mavericks, the Bucks, the Heat, the Hawks, and the Nets. He was named to the All-Star team twice while he was with the Pistons, and averaged 29.8 points per game one year.
This video serves to remind us how incredibly good NBA players are… even the ones who have already retired.
