If you don’t remember Shawn Bradley, well, I don’t blame you. He recently was compared to Knicks rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis and a lot of people asked ‘who’? He could be best described as a 7’6″ center drafted ahead of Penny Hardaway in the 1993 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. You might remember him as the tall guy who was in the ‘Space Jam’ movie alongside Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bogues as the group of players who got their powers stolen by aliens to form the ‘Monstars’. Although it was recently his birthday, all people could talk about is what his career was most remembered for. Sadly, he’s probably most remembered as the dude who got dunked on a lot despite his size, but there is more to his story.
