Game 1 of the 2015 NBA Finals was everything we could hope for and more. The ‘underdog’ Cleveland Cavaliers came out punching against the ‘favorites’ to win, the Golden State Warriors, and LeBron James looked almost unstoppable. Then the roar of Oracle Arena got louder as the Warriors charged back from down 14 at one point to make a comeback and tie the game up.
Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala led the charge for the Warriors in the second half but LeBron, Kyrie Irving and Timofey Mozgov wouldn’t allow the Cavaliers to go down with out a fight. A big block by Kyrie forced the game into overtime but that’s when it all went wrong for Cleveland.
Warriors held the Cavs to only 2 points in overtime and they walked away with a big win in game 1 at home. Meanwhile for the Cavs, the worry right now is if Kyrie Irving can even walk on his own at all. This minimovie from the NBA captures all the action.
