The name ‘Ron Artest’ might become relevant again. No, the man named Ron Artest, Metta World Peace or Panda Friend isn’t making an NBA comeback. Instead, his son, Ron Artest III, might be on some television screens soon playing college basketball.
ESPN.com’s Recruiting Nation has Ron Artest III listed at 6’7″, only at the age of 15. MaxPreps also sheds some light on the High School Sophomore out of Palisades High School in California.
You’d never suspect he was so young based off these high-flying moves. Even if he did miss one of the dunks in the video, he still got up. Oh yea and despite the fact it was his first year playing organized basketball, the kid is already garnering recruiting interest from college programs, according to his dad.
