Stephen’s Dad Dell Curry, who was one of the best shooters of his generation, was nearing the end of his career back in 2002 and was a member of the Toronto Raptors. His family was there with him north of the border, including a 14-year-old Stephen Curry and a 12-year-old Seth Curry.
“Off The Hardwood,” a weekly show back based around the Raptors players lives off the court and the Curry family was the focus one week. In this episode a young Stephen dressed in ‘Jordan’ gear talks about giving up baseball because he liked basketball better and wanted to pursue a pro career. Then he showed off, playing Seth Curry in a little one-on-one.
