While Victor Oladipo emerges into one of the top two-way threats across the NBA, he is simultaneously bolstering his upcoming career in music.
Since being drafted into the NBA as the second overall pick back in 2013, Oladipo has elevated his game yearly leading to a breakout 2017 campaign. Now the athletic guard is also set to ignite his career as an emergent R&B artist with an upcoming EP and debut album. Following from Billboard’s Michael Saponara:
…The Indiana Pacers’ star guard is readying a Songs About You EP follow-up with his V.O. debut album. Oladipo is yet to announce a concrete release date but informed Billboard that R&B titans Trey Songz and Tory Lanez will guest on the anticipated effort.
Even while playing basketball at the highest level, this isn’t the first time Victor Oladipo has dabbled in the world of music. He also put out multiple tracks in the past year and dropped off a track earlier this month featuring Tory Lanez.
With a couple of highly-anticipated projects on the way, Oladipo also gave listeners a second preview of what they can expect. Oladipo recently released his single “Connected” featuring 26-year-old Philadelphia artist PnB Rock.
As Oladipo and his Pacers look to cement themselves as a top threat in a weak Eastern Conference, keep an eye out for more incoming music from the multi-talented Indiana product. You can give Oladipo’s new track featuring PnB Rock a listen below.
