Victor Oladipo Out Indefinitely With Facial Fracture
Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan announced today that Magic guard Victor Oladipo suffered a facial fracture after getting hit with an inadvertent elbow in practice on Thursday and is expected to be out indefinitely.
Oladipo will undergo a corrective surgical procedure on Saturday.
A sprained MCL in his left knee kept Oladipo out of preseason action thus far. In his rookie season with the Magic last season, Oladipo played in 80 games (44 starts) averaging 13.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. He was named to the 2013-2014 NBA All-Rookie First Team.
The Magic will kick off the 2014-15 regular season without Oladipo against the New Orleans Pelicans this Tuesday.
