Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo and 2 Chainz have collaborated for a new song.
Oladipo has already released a Donny Hathaway cover from his new EP, Songs for You. For “Rope A Dope,” Oladipo speaks about Donald Trump’s recent comments about the NFL and NBA.
Last week, Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry said he would not go to the White House. Later, Donald Trump rescinded the White House invitation. LeBron James chimed in, calling Trump a “bum.”
In the same week, Trump called NFL players protesting racism and police brutality “sons of bitches.” This led to every NFL team doing some kind of display during the national anthem.
The sports world is in a new, tense place. Now, Oladipo and 2 Chainz made a song about their feelings on Trump.
