Add Vic Mensa to the ever growing list of Future fans. As the ‘U Mad’ rapper is steadily working hard on his debut album, he’s also been eagerly traveling around the US apart of his “Traffic Tour”. Fresh off the release of his collaboration ‘No Chill‘ collaboration with Skrillex and Jahlil Beats, Vic is back with an innovative cover of Future’s Monster record, ‘Codeine Crazy’. Premiering the cover at the Pitchfork Music Festival a few days ago, dare I say it, I enjoyed this much more than the original. With the addition of plenty guitar rifts and passionate vocals, Vic Mensa brings a different but welcomed approach to the record. It displays some of his versatility at its best. Check out the cover, below.
