
This morning, Variety has reported that ViacomCBS will let go off multiple members of its corporate diversity team in an effort to reorganize the company. According to reports, the company will cut off five members of its nine person corporate diversity team in the CBS’ legacy corporate-diversity department. Two of the people let go are reportedly high ranking members of the department and three are believed to be in assistant-level roles.
All of those who were impacted were reportedly informed last month and are expected to leave the company by May 31st. This cut comes as part of a company wide reorganization. Viacom and CBS recently merged last year.
