Vertical Entertainment gained the U.S. rights to the Bruce Willis led film, Open Source. The Bruce Willis led film follows the story of a billionaire CEO in the tech space who hires a team to protect a piece of technology that could change the balance of the world. Things become even dicier when the CEO’s daughter is abducted by a terrorist group looking to get their hands on the piece of technology in question.
“Open Source is an action-packed thrill ride with an exceptional cast sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats from start to finish. We’re excited to bring this high-intensity film to US audiences later this year,” said Vertical Entertainment’s Rich Goldberg
Matt Eskandari will direct the screenplay written by Chris LaMont and Joe Russo. Alongside Willis, Natalia Eva Marie and Lala Kent will star in the film. Open Source is currently in post-production and will be released later this year.
