After bouncing around the NBA and the NBA G-League for the past four seasons, Ray McCallum has decided to hop across the Atlantic and sign in Europe. McCallum has signed a one-year deal with Eurocup champions Unicaja Malaga who will be making a return to Euroleague this season, the club announced.

McCallum played with Grand Rapid Drive of the G-League most recently. In 43 games he averaged 36.9mpg, 17.58ppg, 7.02apg, 5.81rpg, 2.23spg, and shot 31-percent from deep.
This is McCallum’s first season playing outside of the states and he is a player Malaga needed desperately. After Kyle Fogg decided to sign in China and Marcelo Huertas had a change of heart and signed with Baskonia, the club was short on depth at the point guard position. McCallum should fill in nicely and help Malaga push for a playoff spot in Euroleague this season.
