A new Uncle Buck TV show is in the works at ABC.
The show, which will be based on the 1989 John Candy comedy directed by John Hughes, has been handed a script order.
The original movie starred Candy as a childish bachelor who is forced to take care of his brothers bad and unruly children.
The new version will be written by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley and will be executive produced by Will Packer.
