Cleveland Cavaliers do not have a ton of wiggle room this summer. They only have a limited amount of money to spend and they need to spend it wisely.
The 2015 NBA Draft saw the Cavs with the 24th overall pick which they used to select a champion. They went with Duke’s Tyus Jones with this pick but he won’t be teaming up with LeBron James. Jones will be getting traded to an old Cavs trade partner for two second round draft picks.
Tyus Jones will actually be going to his hometown team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The two players the Cavs will end up with are Rakeem Christmas out of Syracuse with the 36th pick and Cedi Osman out of Turkey with the 31st overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Cavaliers are just trying to build up some more depth on their roster for as cheap as they can. While Osman is not expected to come to the Cavaliers anytime soon Christmas could possibly develop into a guy that can get a small amount of playing time with the team. He adds some frontcourt depth for the Cavaliers but he won’t be taking over for Kevin Love anytime soon.
