As the NBA continues to age and new generations continue to be ushered in, more than just the game is changing. While each era brings along new play style, it also brings new style in general.
We’ve seen players become more and more flamboyant with their fashion choices off the court and that doesn’t only apply to clothing, but also to hair. There are a plethora of new hairstyles that have ascended in popularity during recent years and many of them are attention-grabbing as opposed to the simple styles we’ve seen in the past.
It’d be interesting to see what some familiar, legendary faces would look like in modern hairstyles and that’s exactly what one artist on Twitter did. Tyson Beck created an ‘Old Faces x Fresh Cuts’ series that shows us what some of the game’s most iconic players would look like with some hairstyles that have blown up over the past few years.
Beck portrayed new hairstyles for some of the all-time greats including Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, and Magic Johnson to name just a few. Check out all of the designs in the artist’s incredible work below:
