Combo-guard and G League star Tyrone Wallace has been a nice surprise for the Los Angeles Clippers this season, but his future with the team remains in question. Tomer Azarly reports that Los Angeles offered Wallace a four-year contract, to which he declined. The offered deal was reportedly non-guaranteed for the next three years after this season ended.
Sources: G-League stud Tyrone Wallace recently turned down a four-year contract offer from the #Clippers. Wallace averaged 10.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 0.9 steals in 21 NBA appearances (12 starts) for LA. Story coming soon with the details.

The Clippers have been thin at the guard positions all season and could really use Tyrone Wallace as a spark plug. Patrick Beverly went down with an injury early in the season and the recently-acquired Avery Bradley is dealing with a nagging sports-hernia. Despite the injuries, the Clippers have steadied themselves for the playoff race and sit at 33-29.
Wallace has been a pleasant surprise. In 21 games with the Clippers he has averaged 10.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. In his 12 starts with the team his averages are a little higher at nearly 11.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. Los Angeles is also 8-4 in those starts.
