Now in the early stages of September, there are only a few viable free agents left who’s future plans have not been fully resolved. One of those players was Los Angeles Clippers guard Tyrone Wallace who entered the summer as a restricted free agent but is yet to sign any deal.
Now with training camp less than a month away, the 24-year-old Wallace has agreed to an offer sheet with the New Orleans Pelicans according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Of course as a restricted free agent, the Clippers will be given the opportunity to match the Pelicans’ offer sheet. According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, the offer sheet that Wallace agreed to was for two years at the minimum.

In his first NBA season with the Clips last year, Wallace flashed the ability to score in spurts on multiple occasions, as he averaged a shade under 10 points per game in his 30 outings with the club. Wallace started 19 of his appearances in LA last season and could etch a role out in New Orleans’ backcourt if the Clippers decided not to match the offer.
