Tyler Bey, fresh off an All-Pac 12 caliber year and winning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft. Bey is a 6-7 forward from Colorado who nearly averaged a double-double while playing as an undersized 4 for the Buffaloes. Bey was apart of a Colorado team that many thought could win a couple of games in this year’s canceled NCAA Tournament.
As of now most expect Bey to be a second-round pick with an outside chance of sneaking in the first round. He improved his ability to stretch the floor this year, making over 40 percent of his three albeit on a limited number of attempts. His defensive play and ability to rebound give him a shot to stick in the league.

Even with the uncertainty of the upcoming draft process, Bey is fully into entering the draft. Many are curious if the uncertainty of the process will limit the number of guys willing to test the process this year. A number of prospects have already declared undeterred already though. Bey’s departure from Colorado is a blow to Colorado for next season as many had high hopes for the Buffaloes if he ultimately returned.
