New member of the Houston Rockets Ty Lawson spent time with VICE Sports in Los Angeles last month before the point guard made his way to the premiere of Entourage. “First Days of Summer” shows Lawson kicking it with plenty of friends and speaking freely. Lawson’s dialogue ranged from Mike Beasley to frat parties in college at UNC to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, who at the time were playing in the NBA Finals against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Lawson was openly rooting against his friend Steph Curry.
Jusuf Nurkic, who is Lawson’s now former teammate in Denver, is plot twistingly mentioned in reference to a funny story involving Kenneth Faried. Lawson also does a good amount of sharing about the general lifestyle of a player in the NBA. Things are much different for Lawson now in terms of his work environment as he is in a better competitive environment in Houston. But if nothing else, this at least showed that Ty Lawson can be pretty entertaining and is definitely cool to be around.
