Ty Lawson had an undetermined future when the Indiana Pacers season came to an end in the first round of the 2016 NBA playoffs. The troubled former fringe NBA All-Star point guard had recently bounced from team to team following his troubles during his time with the Denver Nuggets.
From Denver to the Houston Rockets to the Indiana Pacers, Lawson was close to being out of the league after a huge fall from grace. It’s almost September and the guard finally agreed to a deal with a team looking to possibly spark a playoff push. The Sacramento Kings, a team already full of in-house trouble of their own, agreed to terms with Lawson.

This could be Lawson’s final chance at making something great happen in his NBA career. While it might not be an ideal situation, he can make the most out of it playing alongside two offensive threats in DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay.
Lawson can score, shoot and run an offense but his defense is questionable, decision making is shaky and his off-court issues can not be forgotten. Hopefully he can take an opportunity and comeback to his old form.
