So Ty Lawson is now in Indiana, lucky for him. Imagine if he was still in Houston. That would mean the Rockets would have a guy who uses stickum for some reason, a guy who is a barn door defensively, Michael Beasley and a drink driver.
Lucky Ty Lawson is in a more chilled environment, but that doesn’t stop the Justise system from working it’s magic. Lawson has recently been sentenced to supervised probation for a DUI.
Indiana Pacers point guard Ty Lawson will serve a year of probation in a Denver drunken driving case after a judge rejected arguments that he needed to serve time in jail to learn a lesson.
A prosecutor on Tuesday asked for Lawson to spend at least a month in jail because his behavior hasn’t changed. His lawyer said no one else would be put behind bars for a first conviction.
This is coming off his DUI last year. His behaviour hasn’t changed since last year. Are you kidding me? The man was lucky that the judge didn’t agree with the prosecutor, otherwise he’d be behind bars.
Ty Lawson needs to shape up, the longer he is on this probation, the less likely he’ll get a job after Indiana.
