Houston Rockets’ point guard Ty Lawson has pleaded guilty to charges from a drunken driving arrest in Denver. The charges are driving with ability impaired and a lane violation. Lawson could face up to 180 days in jail once he is sentenced on January 14.
Lawson was also arrested on drunk driving charges in Los Angeles in July and has completed rehab this summer. In his short time in Houston since being traded, Lawson has stayed clean.
Hopefully his problems are behind him and he can learn from these mistakes.
