Denver Nuggets star point guard Ty Lawson isn’t having the best 2015. His team underperformed this season, he has been in numerous trade talks and to top it all off, his off the court personal situations haven’t been the best.
He recently filmed a video of himself smoking some substance, talking about going to Sacramento after the Kings drafted Emmanuel Mudiay and back in January he was arrested for a DUI in Denver.
Now it appears that Lawson has been arrested again for a DUI. This time in Los Angeles.

TMZ Sports has learned Lawson was pulled over by CHP for speeding on the 101 Freeway early this morning … and officers determined he showed signs of intoxication … so they gave him a field sobriety test.
Didn’t go so good for Lawson. He was arrested around 2:30 AM.
We actually spoke to Lawson as he and his GF Ashley King (former “Bad Girls Club” star) were leaving Le Jardin nightclub in Hollywood — moments before they jumped on the freeway. Interesting … we talked marijuana with him.
He’s still in jail right now. His bail’s been set at $5,000.
A second DUI in a year isn’t a great look for anyone. Especially an NBA player on the brink of being traded.
Lawson’s value is diminishing almost weekly and at this point the Nuggets might be willing to give him away for almost nothing just to get him off the team and into a new scenario.
