The Denver Nuggets can now breathe a sigh of relief. They have traded their point guard that is great on the court but is increasingly becoming a problem off the hardwood.
Ty Lawson is out of Denver and is off to Houston to start over and hopefully get sober. The Denver Nuggets on the other hand basically time travel back to the Carmelo Anthony trade. It’s very similar to the Anthony trade, the Nuggets give away their best player and the other team unloads their bench.
Now Lawson Isn’t Melo don’t get me wrong, but Lawson might have a better impact in terms of where he is going. All Houston needed was a pass first point guard and that’s what they got. Lawson’s agent Happy Walters says that his PG is happy to be going to Houston.
“He’s close with James [Harden], tight with Corey [Brewer], knows Trevor [Ariza] and Dwight [Howard] and is real excited,” the point guard’s agent, Happy Walters, told KRIV-TV.
“It’s an opportunity for him. He’s been deep in the playoffs before, but this is something he feels really good about.”

For the Nuggets, I think they should trade Kenneth Faried for as many Draft picks as they want. I think they should just strip the team and start over.
For the Rockets, once again they make a great move. Can they finally fulfil their potential and actually look like they want a Finals appearance? We’ll see.
