For the past year, Ty Dolla $ign has been working hard and has consistently pushed out new tunes for the world to enjoy. From a heavy amount of solo material to featuring on the records of his fellow peers, Ty is just as much prominent behind the scenes as a writer and producer. In recent months, the rapper/singer has put the focus on his upcoming debut, Free TC, but that doesn’t mean that new music will not be shared before the November 13th release date. Just moments ago, Ty Dolla $ign not only dropped a new track, but he also revealed that his brand new mixtape, Airplane Mode, will be dropping tomorrow.
Along with the mixtape announcement came the title track and it serves as the perfect reminder as to why many across the globe have fell in love with the sound he’s brought to the music industry. Singing, “These days gotta keep my phone on airplane mode to dodge these hoes,” Ty floats over the subdued production laced with a bounce that’s often heard in the sound of west coast music.
