Two men have been charged in the shooting incident involving Tekashi 6ix9ine that took place on Friday, Oct. 26. The men, Zachary Bunce and Faheem Walter, were both charged with gang assault, the Associated Press reports.
On Friday, 6ix9ine was granted a four-year probation sentence in his sexual misconduct case from 2015. The controversial New York rapper plead guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance.
6ix9ine went to the Manhattan restaurant to celebrate his light sentence. The rapper and his crew, which included Bunce and Walter, were denied entry to the restaurant. The incident reportedly led to an altercation between the two men and a security guard. The two men allegedly hit the security guard with a chair, which led to Walter being shot.
Walter was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The “GUMMO” rapper has faced legal trouble before, but luckily, his attorney confirmed that he was not present during the violent altercation.
