
Actor Bob Saget reportedly passed away earlier this evening at the age of 65.
According to multiple reports, authorities responded to call for help at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando. After their arrival, authorities found Saget unresponsive on the floor of a hotel room. Moments later, medical professional declared him dead. At this moment, no cause of death has been determined.
Thus far, no signs of foul play have been uncovered. A medical examiner will make a determination regarding the actor’s cause of death in the coming weeks.
“I have always and will always love Bob Saget,” The Office star B.J. Novak tweeted after learning of Saget’s death.
“I just spoke with Bob a few days ago. We stayed on the phone as usual making each other laugh. RIP to friend, comedian & fellow Aristocrat Bob Saget,” comedian Gilbert Gottfried added.
Saget is a Philadelphia native who is known to most of the world as Danny Tanner. He appeared in the popular sitcom series, Full House, for eight years while also hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos. In addition, he appeared in Entourage, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Shameless.
“Bob Saget was as lovely a human as he was funny. And to my mind, he was hilarious. We were close friends and I could not have loved him more,” legendary television producer Norman Lear remarked.
Saget is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and his three children.
