The Chicago Bears continue to make moves this morning as they come to an agreement with Eagles TE Trey Burton. This was first reported by NFL Networks Mike Garafolo
Former Eagles TE (and sometimes trick-play QB) Trey Burton is expected to sign with the Bears, source says.

Trey Burton was a fan favorite in Philadelphia especially after the “Philly Special” play during the Super Bowl. Burton is walking mainly due to cap issues for Philadelphia and was expecting a payday after a stellar 2017. He netted 23 catches for 248 yards with five touchdowns. He also plays a large role on special teams.
With this move, the Eagles leave themselves depleted in the TE area as they released TE Brent Celek just this afternoon. While they are dealing with cap issues and couldn’t afford the cap hits for either player they do have Zach Ertz who has been playing at a very high level.
With this deal, Chicago gets a nice playmaker for their young QB Mitchell Trubisky. The team also signed Allen Robinson earlier in the day to add yet another weapon to their roster. Some are wary of the money handed to an unproven Burton but he was very productive with minimum field time in three seasons in Philadelphia
