The Denver Broncos quarterback battle will be an interesting one to watch all offseason long. Thus far 2015 7th rounder Trevor Siemian is stay cool and collected. The starting job is very much up for grabs at this point.
Of course Siemian will have an up hill climb to convince the coaches he deserves a chance. With 72 starts under the belt of Mark Sanchez it will take some guts for the Broncos to give Siemian the reigns.
“I think my role had changed quite a bit, but I’m just trying to keep the same mindset and remind myself what got me to this point,” Siemian said, via ESPN.com. “Not trying to be somebody else, not trying to be Peyton, not trying to be Brock or anybody else. Just be myself, try to get comfortable in that leadership role. It’s been a quick turnaround for me.”
Of course rookie first rounder Paxton Lynch is in the discussion as well. The Broncos would like to have him sit and learn but of course the job could be his if the other two guys struggle.
