Utah Jazz power forward, Trevor Booker, had surgery on his fractured nose on Thursday, according to a PR release by the team (via Jazz writer Jody Genessy.) The broken nose was suffered during a pickup game and the procedure was deemed successful.
According to the Jazz, Booker will be able to return to full basketball activities by the time training camp opens in October. That’s good news for Utah who used Booker as veteran depth behind starting big men Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert.
The five-year veteran averaged 7.2 points and 5 rebounds per game in just under twenty minutes of game time last season while also giving us perhaps the best circus shot in the entire NBA.
