Arkansas Razorbacks forward Trevon Brazile is out for the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL. He suffered the unfortunate injury in the team’s 65-58 win over the UNC Greensboro Spartans on Tuesday night. The school has announced that he will undergo surgery to repair the torn ACL later this month. A devastating injury for a player that was having a break-out year with the team after transferring from the Missouri Tigers. The sophomore was beginning to get looks ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft and could have gotten drafted this season. That is all unfortunately in question now.
Sending love to Trevon Brazile who will miss the rest of the season with an ACL tear.

This season in nine games with the Arkansas Razorbacks, Trevon Brazile averaged 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 48.1 percent and a three-point percentage of 37.9 percent. While he did not start in those games with Arkansas as he did with Missouri, he did receive more minutes per game and played noticeably better with the Razorbacks this year. He also proved to be a walking highlight reel in those nine games.

An injury like this to a budding college basketball star is also unfortunate. Trevon Brazile will have to focus on healing up and then planning his next move. The 2023 NBA Draft was a real possibility after this season, but now that may not be likely. Whatever he decides to do, healing up is his primary focus now. We here at Def Pen Sports wish him the best in his recovery and eventual return to the basketball court.
