Travis Scott continues his winning streak, with ‘Sicko Mode‘ peaking at the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Although this is Scott’s first #1 spot on the chart, the win doesn’t come as a surprise. The single is arguably the stand-out track of the ASTROWORLD album. Scott and Drake act as a dynamic duo throughout the song, tag-teaming between verses. The song also features vocals from Swae Lee, a famous Sheck Wes ad-lib and many honorable samples, including Uncle Luke’s “Don’t stop, pop that p*ssy!”
#1 album and #1 single.
God is good.— TRAVIS SCOTT (@trvisXX) December 3, 2018
“I don’t know how I’m writing this right now … it’s so many emotions. Just super thankful to all the fans and supporters,” Scott wrote in a statement to Billboard. “Me and Drake been working to make something so crazy for the kids. It’s dope that one of our illest collaborations just went No. 1. I just want to thank him and the whole OVO fam for everything. And love to Skrillex!”
The song now dethrones Grande’s ‘thank u, next’ after spending four weeks at the #2 spot.
