
Astroworld Day officially takes Travis Scott’s 2018 reign to the next level. Travis Scott arguably had the best year in Hip Hop, His highly anticipated album Astroworld continues to dominate charts after standing as the number one album in the country.
The rapper continued with a top-selling tour and the creation of the inaugural Astroworld Fest in his hometown, Houston. Mayor Sylvester Turner decided to make Travis Scott’s impact on the Texas city official by naming November 18, Astroworld Day. Travis Scott gracefully accepted the honor.

Astroworld Day recognizes the dedication Travis Scott has for the empowerment of Houston youth and the desire to give back where the city needs the most help.

Astroworld Fest stands in remembrance of AstroWorld, a now-closed Houston Six Flags theme park where Travis Scott holds some of his fondest childhood memories. Astroworld Fest hosted 40,000 fans, ready to rage out. Post Malone, Lil Wayne and more took the stage in what is surely the first of many successful Astroworld Fests.
