The Kansas City Chiefs scored a touchdown with 2:43 left to play, making the score 18-16. The Chiefs went for the 2-point conversion and Alex Smith found Demetrius Smith in the back of the end zone to notch the game at 18. However, a flag was thrown for holding on Chiefs LT Eric Fisher who dragged 38-year old James Harrison to the ground; negating the successful 2-point conversion.
The Chiefs lined up at the 12 and ran another play; this time not converting the 2-point conversion. The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to run out the clock on the ensuing drive and win the football game 18-16.
Travis Kelce is never one to hold in his opinion in. He was quoted saying this after the game:
Travis Kelce on Eric Fisher’s hold: “That was horseshit.” Said ref who called it “shouldn’t even be able to work at Foot Locker.”
