
This morning, The Guardian was the first to discover the trailer for the upcoming British comedy film, Adult Life Skills. Directed and written by Rachel Tunnard, the movie stars Jodie Whittaker (Black Sea).
“Adult Life Skills is about a woman approaching 30 having an early mid-life-crisis – one that sees her regressing to a teenager, living in a shed at the bottom of her mum’s garden and making videos using her thumbs as characters” (Creative England).
Tunnard made her directorial debut with the BAFTA-nominated short film Emotional Fusebox in 2015. Adult Life Skills is a feature length adaptation of this short.
The film also stars Lorraine Ashbourne, Brett Goldstein, Alice Lowe, Eileen Davies, Rachel Deering, Edward Hogg, and Ozzy Myers. Pico Pictures and Creative England produced, along with executive producers Ken Marshall, Paul Ashton, David Hinds, Richard Holmes, Neil Hinds, Andrew Hinds, David Fransen, Jakob Abrahamsson, and Jodie Whittaker.
