The Portland Trail Blazers are in full rebuild mode. They have signed undrafted rookie prospect Cliff Alexander. Cliff was supposed to be a lottery pick not one year ago, but completely slipped after one year of college basketball. According to Cliff Alexander’s own Twitter account:
God has still found ways to bless me through the struggle. I am officially apart of the NBA & Trailblazer family? pic.twitter.com/O69Jj5frhM

Alexander played for the Brooklyn Nets in Summer League action but the Blazers obviously offered more money and that is why he is a Blazer now. The 6’9 Forward is raw, but he definitely has the talent to potentially be something in the league. With the amount of minutes available in Portland next year, who knows how it will be. Alexander isn’t shy from the spotlight, as a Kansas Jayhawk he was a high flyer and energy player, exactly what Portland might be looking for.
